Josh Attwood is a graphic designer based in South East London. His practice is split between small commercial projects and self-initiated projects which focus on current social and political issues.
Client based work is taken on in a collaborative approach to achieve an outcome that goes beyond aesthetically good graphic design and focuses on communication at a wider scale than just the visual material. He is keen to maintain an ethical practice, socially and politically. Therefore, projects that have a positive impact to the local and wider community are of particular interest with clients such as Forest Hill Brewing Company and Trinity Laban Students' Union.
Self-initiated projects focus on an engagement with social and political issues, mainly through the mediums of interaction, installation and print. He is particularly interested in creating platforms as a catalyst for conversation and debate, whether that be through installation or workshops and interaction.
